Minimum Wage Database

A global database maintained by the International Labour Office, based in Switzerland.  The search process takes getting used to but yields loads of information on the wage-setting procedures and other legalities, as well as minimum wage levels, for most countries.

The Minimum Wage in England: The Low Pay Commission Web site

The Low Pay Commission is Great Britain's official advisory group for the national minimum wage, in place since 1999.  In addition to information on the regular increases in the wage and on Britain's youth wages, the site includes research studies on a wide range of minimum wage issues.
